Project 2 BCC Cover Essay
The project was to create a cover design for Broome Community Collge General Catalog for 2010-2011. This theme for incorporating the tree in this design eas to reflect a direction of learning "Tree of Learning". The leaves on the tree are falling showing the different setting of the college life and the classroom. How instructor and student interact and the one-on-one focus for every student to help with the direction the is being pursued. On the design the principles includes balance, alignment. contrast, emphasis, flow, and repetition. Tree shows balance and contrast, flow of leaves showing photos as falling off tree. Alignment of placement of logo, and reference to catalog and dates. Promotes whatever direction in learning a student may want and if not decided may choose to pursue.
